It just left you, never to return. We stand here in a time called NOW, writing the history. Our presence is so important, God pleased to have YOU, HERE & NOW.
In a crucial moment in the history of Jews Mordecai encouraged Esther to take the risk saying “And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Your place, your color, your family, your country, your community and the profession was His choice, not a freak accident or your calculated preference. The Greatest Painter Ever is doing his job, taking each one of us from different sections of the palette. Some colors are vibrant, some act as shades , some dull, but all too important for the painting. The position and the place are decided.
When the history is being wrought by God we all are positioned by the divine appointment. Ain’t it surprising that your place can’t be substituted by anyone else. It takes YOU for God to complete the history.
Soon this generation will be replaced by another one. And then we all will be called history. But this soon-to-become-history shall inspire, direct, correct, change and even decide the future of the coming generation. “Our posterity will serve him. Future generations will be told about the Lord. They will proclaim his righteousness, to a people yet to be born” This generation will decide where this world will be and we’ve got NOW.
