Living by grace Part 7

People from the firm ground that you are standing on. Instated, go on growing in the grace and in the knowledge of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory, in time and in eternity. Amen.

2 Peter 3: 18 the Jerusalem Bible.

Think once again, from our firm ground we have to shift in to the grace and grow into it. If we are not able to do that grace will do itself as the production of grace comes in our life when we receive it from the Lord. Some one said that, “The language of the Bible is a language of grace. If there is no grace there is no Gospel.”

Every doctrine in the scripture has it’s foundation in the grace of YAHWEH…

1. Justification (Romans 3: 24)
2. Faith response (Ephesians 2: 8)
3. Salvation (John 3: 16; Ephesians 2: 8)
4. Predestination (Ephesians 1: 11)
5. Redemption (1 Corinthians 1: 30, Hebrews 9: 12)
6. Forgiveness (Ephesians 4: 32, Hebrews 8: 12)
7. Adoption (Galatians 4: 5)
8. Sanctification (Hebrews 10: 10, 14)
9. Spiritual gifts (Romans 12: 6)
10. Deliverance (Titus 3: 5, Colossians 1: 13)
11. Election (Ephesians 1:1, 6; 2 Timothy 1: 9; Titus 3: 5)
12. Inheritance (1 Peter 3: 7)
13. Our calling (Galatians 1: 15)
14. Suffering (1 Peter 2: 19)
15. Thankfulness (1 Thessalonians 5: 18; Philippians 4: 6)
16. Repentance (2 Timothy 2: 25)
17. Obedience (Romans 1: 5; 6: 17)
18. Perseverance (1 Thessalonians 3: 5)
19. Overcoming sin (Romans 6: 14; 1 Corinthians 6: 11; 12:13; Ephesians 5: 26; Colossians 2:12; 1 John 5: 4, 5)
20. Witnessing (Acts 4: 33; 11: 23)

So we know that we can grow in grace. Than, what is lacking! Why don’t we grow in the measure we should in His grace!

Allow me to share the key I found in my life, it’s the submission (subjective mission) to His grace which heals us and let us grow. It’s like a ‘mountain top’ we can see it, we can take a snap of it even we can say about it (height, temperature etc) from our head knowledge but we can’t feel the pressure of low oxygen and frizzing cold unless we be there. It’s like a ‘river’ while we stand on the bank of it; we can measure the flow, dept, clarity but will never flow into it unless we jump into it. It’s like a ‘desert’ As tourist we can touch & feel the sand, got to hear the stories about it but we will never sense the day heat or cold of the night nor thrust for water unless we live in there.

I HOPE TO SEE YOU IN GRACE. AMEN.
