Are you an empty vessel with empty net or a full vessel with a bursting net?

Peter cast a net in the sea of Galilee but drew up an empty net. Jesus asked him to cast the net on the right side of the boat and he drew up a net that was so full of fish that it was near to bursting. The contrast is between an empty lifestyle, a life of vain pursuits and disappointment, a life of self belief , self will and disenchantment and a life of fulfillment, trust in God and His plan and purpose for our lives, a life of obedience to God’s will.

We need to take the call and make a choice between the empty net and the full net. It was the same net, the same water, the same boat meaning our personality does not change, our methods do not change, our circumstances do not change. The only thing that changes is whether we hear our own voice and depend on our own understanding or we hear His voice and depend on His understanding. The only thing that changes is our sense of direction and perspective.

The end results are quite different. It is the difference between living a life of fulfillment and living a life in the shallows of frustration and strife. It is the difference between living a life that God asks us to lead step by step, inspirationally. It is the difference between sticking to our own stubborn choices or making deflections in our course based on the promptings of the Spirit and the leading of His Word.

What is your present situation in your life ? Your creator want to fill your vessel for His glory. Will you hear and obey His voice ?

God bless you abundantly and make you a blessing to so many across the globe.
