Do you want to get well?

One man was there who had been sick for 38 years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew he had already been there a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to get well?”

John 5:5, 6 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Dearest Abba Father, Yes, I want to be made whole. Yahweh, I humbly come before You, My Creator and my Savior. I surrender my fear, self pity, excuses and my grief unto Your feet. I open my heart to Your invitation to heal and restore me with complete faith on Your authority over things seen and unseen. I believe without a shadow of doubt that there is none more powerful and mighty as You are. You alone are the one true God. I love You and thank You that You love me with an everlasting and unconditional love. Since You created me and chose me as Your own, Father, I give myself to You now, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. I give you permission to come in and wash me clean. Heal me of my hurts. Take away my pain. Remove anything in my life that hinders my relationship with You. Fill me with the fullness of Your Spirit and enable me to take the first step trusting You. I know I would never see the victory until I have the courage to get up and walk in Your power that You have filled inside of me. I will go forth in the power of Your Holy Spirit and claim all that You have prepared for me. The enemy’s lies can not discourage and stop me no more. I declare this in the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.
