Facing troubles in our life in its absolute manner is a very difficult task, when we approach wrongly. I believe you can follow me… I want to elaborate what I meant by this.
The result of an incident in our life determines how we approach it. The point here is the ATTITUDE of our approach.
Here I want to extract something from Mathew: 4…
Mathew writes about the temptations faced by Jesus Christ after he fasted for forty days and forty nights. Bible says he was led by the spirit to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. So that was a planned purpose of God the father. Don’t run here and there to learn the approach of life. Jesus here shows how to approach the life… the evil one… the temptation.
Sometimes people around us force us to do things, to act against the will of God. Devil approach you sweeter. ”Hey you are so good! You are the best to do this”, “Nobody else to do this better than you”. “You are a wealthy man, if you do not enjoy who will”.
Tempting you to leap!
See how Jesus faced such a situation, Jesus was famished after the fasting, devil came and asked, if you are the son of God command these stones to become loaves of bread. If you are in such a situation, what you will do? The devil is accepting you as the son of God and that is true and he is tempting you to obey him in a sweeter manner!! This is devils specialty, catching your enticement emotion, the simplest way to put man into trouble.
Here you can see how Jesus faced it; he could simply do a miracle here. But if he does so the Satan is winning over him… he answered cleverly “it is written, one does not live by bread alone but every word that comes from the mouth of the God”.
Here if Jesus obeyed the word of the devil, what will be the after effect?
The result is oriented to how our approach is.
We can see in the same chapter Jesus was tempted three times. After the temptation he was successfully won and soon after the devil left angels came and waited on him.
I heard some people say, Oh! Difficulties, troubles everyday… troubles, troubles, troubles. Stop saying that, blessing and destruction, both are in your tongue. Start facing your life positively and cleverly. Approach things positively, think with God, take the essence then execute it. Do not slant yourselves to the enticement emotions.
Let the grace of our Lord Jesus who faced and shown us how to approach the life cleverly and positively be with you. Amen.
