The great book does elaborate various men and women of God; who inspired by the Spirit of God stood in the nation-building giving shoulders to the great kings of Babylon, Media-Persia, etc. Those were living leaders with excellent capability and noble characters encompassing holiness and honesty in every walks of their life. To cite few – Nehemiah, Esther, Daniel, Joseph, Mordecai, etc. acted at the right time and influenced their entire generation to a path of life and prosperity.
These men and women were typically hostages and were living in hostile and unfamiliar places, but they stood their values like a catalyst, and we can see the rulers to whom they were subjects, elevated them even to highest post in their kingdom. Because these men were extremely capable and stood in the gap, prayed for the nation and its population, God also elevated them to such a level enviable to other officials.
We have been greatly challenged and encouraged by the vision placed before us by our ex. president Dr. A P J Kalam of ” A prosperous and flourishing India by 2020 ” in all areas of our economy will enlarge its true prosperity not just within the boundaries of the subcontinent , but will be a source of universal prosperity.
