Jesus turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ “But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it
Mark 5: 30-32 (New International Version)
Dearest Abba, Father, You are All knowing. You look for those who seek after You with whole heart. You demand complete devotion and unwavering faith on you from us. Not just lip service. There are so many people who pray to You as a ritual or as a chore. But what You are looking for is people who worship You fervently. Make our hearts tender for You. Make each of us a man/ woman after Your own heart. Father God, I am so weak and overwhelmed that I can’t even lift my hand and reach out to You. The hem of your garment seems so far. Have mercy on me and come near me and touch me. Let Your healing power and sweet love permeate through my entire being. Come and have Your way in me and lead me. I put all my burdens on You. Carry me through this difficult phase of life. Your command for me is to rejoice always. But Abba, I am so depressed and desperate and at the end of my strength. It’s time for You to act on my behalf. Be unto me according to Your Mercy. Not on my merit but through the precious blood of Jesus Messiah that He poured out for me on the Calvary, I pray. Amen
