……thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:18 (King James Version)
Dearest Abba, Father, all riches, power and glory belong to you. You are the one who has given me the job I am doing now. You are the one who arranged my work place and You decided who all I will be working with. Lord, in spite of doing my best, often times I am not appreciated and passed up for promotion. Father, I believe that promotion comes not from east or west but from You. I submit myself completely before You so that you will raise me up at Your own chosen time. When you decide to promote me, nobody will be able to stop it and will leave everyone amazed. Until waiting for Your perfect time, Lord, help me keep a positive attitude and help me do my job diligently as if I am doing it for You. Help me keep a right perspective. When I feel unappreciated at my workplace and get tired and the devil tries to convince me to quit, please encourage and comfort me. Even if no one else notices what I am doing, I know that You see every move I make. Whether or not I ever hear the words “thank you” from anyone, I am the servant of the Lord God and I will do my job well as unto Him. I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name. Amen
