As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”… Then He touched their eyes, saying, “It shall be done to you according to your faith.” And their eyes were opened.
Matthew 9:27-30 (New American Standard Bible)
Dearest Abba, Father, I want to learn how to follow more closely. Help me to sense when You are speaking to me and trying to lead me and trying to lead me, and to become to sensitive to You that I know when to act and when to wait. I regret all the times when I acted on my impulse without waiting on you and without praying. Abba, change me in side out. Help me rid me of my impulsive and impatient self and l lean on you completely. I count everything as loss if I don’t experience Your presence with me. Help me never to grieve Your Holy Spirit. Help me to become more sensitive to You. Give me courage to do what You prompt me to do and to wait when I hear You tell me to wait even when Your voice makes no sense to me. I believe it will be well with me if I trust that it’s You who is holding on to me and leading me. I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name and in the power of His precious blood. Amen
