The Lord God says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their belongings.”
—–2 Chronicles 7:14 (New International Version)
Dearest Abba, Father, You are my Most merciful God, I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone.I have been lax in the matters concerning You. I have not loved You with my whole heart; I am truly sorry, and I humbly repent. Don’t let me die in my sins. Have mercy on me. I don’t have anything to sacrifice to You but tears from a broken and contrite heart. Restore to me the joy of your presence.Make me a useful instrument unto Your service. Help me to diligently serve You in all ways You have entrusted to me. Give me new revelations. Put into my heart right words to comfort those who are in sorrows and in need of renewed hope. Make me a blessing so that I can be a blessing to other bringing glory to Your mighty name. On account of Your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me, that I may delight n Your will, and walk in Your ways. Amen.
