“Are you working smart or you are trapped in your daily chores”

Jethro said to Moses “what you are doing is not good “Can you believe that? The boldness of this outsider, we strongly believe that the great leader Moses must have carefully explained to Jethro that he was making all the decisions because, as he is the sole authority and he was always in a better position to teach about laws of God and day to day solutions .

Have you read the Jethro’s further comments “You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you can’t handle it alone” Jethro, however, explained that Moses should divide up decision-making power and responsibility and delegate it to the capable & trustworthy people who hate dishonest gain, from his own team members.

Moses recognized and admitted he had a problem and was willing to change. Yes !
He was willing to let an “outsider” teach him how to improve his ability, even if it meant giving some authority for decisions to others. Of course the difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple once they decided themselves.

Will you dare to apply the same pattern in your own life ?
