When you spend your time away from God attending to mundane matters , the fleshly weakness begin to appear like hunger( the desire to break fasting ,lust , worry,anxiety, doubt etc). So return to God and ask His grace to allow you to dwell in his presence and you will find perfect rest in him. Why do you strive against worldly matters? Your God Almighty will do the battles for you. When God is with you ,who can be against you?
