Abba Father, thank you for delighting in me. It never ceases to amaze me how a holy God like You could love a wretched sinner like me whose thoughts are perpetually inclined toward wickedness. I thank You for your readiness to forgive me when I confess my sins and repent. Often times I am even shameful to ask You for forgiveness because again and again I fail you. But Your love draws me close to You. My heart melts at Your sweet love. How can I turn back on such great tender love that’s always unchanging? I thank You that Your love does not depend on my fickle behavior. Your gracious forgiveness flow through me as I draw close to You and I bask in Your ravishing delight in me. I thank You that today is a new day and Your tender mercies are new and readily available for me. Thank You for the blessings You have in store for me. Help my thoughts to be agreeable to Your will. Help me develop a vision for the abundant life You have in store so that I can be a blessing to those around me. Through the name of Yahshua I ask this prayer, whose death on the cross made it possible for me to become Your child. Amen.
