Dearest Abba, Father, You’re our rock, our fortress, and our shield and we need You to be all these things and more in every moment of our lives. In these times of great wickedness , we don’t have to be in the heat of battle to be in danger. We need your constant protection. Grant us new life, that we may run under Your wings when we face danger of any kind; cover us with Your feathers. Help us stay in constant touch with You, living in Your presence. Send Your angels to surround us and guard us wherever we go. Help us to turn to You as our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Go before us and protect us from behind. Be our shade from the heat, our shelter from the storm, our hiding place protect us from all troubles the enemy plans against us. Watch over us, for You never sleep. Our lives are in Your hands; may all who trust in You dwell in the security of Your ever abiding love. In the name of Jesus Christ, we cry out. Amen
